Eligibility for Disability Services
All FSU students with a documented disability are eligible for accessibility services. A disability is a condition of impairment, mental or physical, permanent, or temporary, which substantially limits one or more of a person's major life activities, such as education, employment, and/or recreation. The following is not an exhaustive list but provides many examples of conditions that would qualify a student for accessibility services.

- Physical Disabilities
- Learning Disabilities (Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dysgraphia, Perceptual-Motor Impairments, Reading Disorders, Mathematics Disorders, Disorders of Written Expression, and Processing Disorders)
- Physical Impairments, such as back injuries and Para/Quadriplegia
- Mental Health Conditions
- Neurological Disorders
- Orthopedic Disorders
- Visual Impairments (Low Vision, Blind)
- Chronic Health Conditions (Diabetes, migraines, Crohn’s Disease)
- Traumatic Brain Injuries
- Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Temporary Impairments (broken limbs, concussions)
